Willie Lee Mathews of Heavener, Oklahoma was born January 25, 1946 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Albert Vernon and Wilma (Heavener) Janway and passed away October 7, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 77.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Jim, John, and David Janway; two sisters Laverne Morrison and Melba Woodral; and a granddaughter Megan Amber Mathews.
Willie Lee was a life-long resident of the area and was a Dietician in healthcare. She loved spending time with her family and visiting with friends. Willie Lee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Hontubby Cemetery in the Hontubby Community with Brother Paul Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Willie Lee will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until service time, Thursday at the funeral home.
