Timothy Allen Caughern of Arlington, Texas was born October 26, 1961 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Charles D. and Gladys D. (Ridenour) Caughern and passed away August 22, 2017 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 55.

Brittney Garza and husband Casey of Cleburne, Texas
Haley Caughern of Arlington, Texas
Madison Caughern of Arlington, Texas

Two brothers:
Chuck Caughern and wife Sheila of McAlester, Oklahoma
Jim Caughern and wife Christi of LeFlore, Oklahoma

Six grandchildren:
Caden, Isabel, and Ella Garza
Alec and Adrian Diaz
Christian Oyerbides

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of many friends

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys D. (Ridenour) Caughern. Timothy was a member of the Summerfield Baptist Church and was self-employed as a Real Estate Agent. He was a former Educator and Superintendent. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, poppy, uncle, cousin, and friend. Timothy will be dearly missed by many.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Summerfield Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be: Casey Garza, Justin Frizzell, Sergio Diaz, Jake Caughern, Isaac James, and Cole Caughern

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Larry Wickware, Frank Earven, Clinton Phipps, Jay Stacy, Dwain Caughern, Ray Caughern, Jeff Caughern, and Dwight Caughern

Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday.
