Thelma Marie Bennett passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 99. She was born on August 29, 1917 in Texas to Peter and Bernice Storozyszyn. She is the widow of Haskel Bennett and is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers. Thelma was a long-time employee of the Vista Nursing Home in Heavener, Oklahoma where she worked as a Certified Nurses Aide.

She is survived by two sons: Robert Hager and wife Ellen of Howe, Oklahoma; William Hager and wife Bobbie of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; and one sister, Helen Wengier of Harrah, Oklahoma.

Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2017 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
