Terry Denis Johnson, Sr. of Big Cedar, Oklahoma was born May 4, 1948 in Vandalia, Missouri to Chester and Thena (Spears) Johnson and passed away May 18, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family at the age of 77.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

Terry was a long-time resident of the area and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country in the Vietnam Era. For many years he dressed up as Santa around Christmas and passed out gifts to all the children he came across.

Terry's family will hold a memorial service to honor his life at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
