Susie (Williams) Stites of Heavener, Oklahoma was born December 16, 1925 in Haw Creek, Oklahoma to Ross and Martha (Holsomback) Ayers and passed away June 7, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

She is survived by:

Three daughters:
Virgie Steelman and husband Clyde Jr. of Wister, Oklahoma
Judy Irvin of Howe, Oklahoma
Patsy Vinson of Heavener, Oklahoma

One son:
Tommy Williams and wife Patsy of Lovings Community

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Virgil Lee Williams; second husband, Bill Stites; two sons, Glen Edward Williams and Clifton Edward Williams; two grandsons, Gary Vinson and Bryan Brown. Susie was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Clyde Steelman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Blackfork Cemetery in Blackfork, Arkansas under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday and 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Saturday. The family will be visiting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
