Steven Charles Burton of Shady Point, Oklahoma was born February 9, 1967 in Rochester, New York to Roger G. and Alice (Mahaffey) Burton and passed away April 26, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 57.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Alice Burton.
Steven was a long-time resident of the area. Steven was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Steven was a veteran, where he served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Burton Home, 27107 Mary Lou Street, Shady Point, OK 74956.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
