Steve Gene Woodral of Heavener, Oklahoma was born February 28, 1955 in Modesto, California to Billy Gene and Billie Jean (Higgins) Woodral and passed away March 24, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 66.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Woodral.
Steve was a longtime resident of the area and a 1973 graduate of Heavener High School. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam era. Steve was an owner and founder of Woodral Trucking. He was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, and the first member of the American Freedom Firearms Gun Range in Marshall, Texas. He was the best son, father, and friend to all who knew him. He was a family man who loved his God, his family, and his country.
Steve and his family are grateful to The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas for their kindness and compassionate care.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Hontubby Baptist Church with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Hunter Woodral, Drew Maxwell, Billy Woodral, Dustin Roberts, Neal Maxwell, and Daryl Kardokus
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Macy Maxwell, Taylor Martin, Gary Woodral, and Lily Friedl
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
