Shirley Lometta (McGowen) Hollan of Sapulpa, Oklahoma (formerly of Summerfield, Oklahoma) was born July 8, 1941 in Summerfield, Oklahoma to Elzie Levi and Sally Marguerite (Jones) McGowen and passed away on June 12, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie Levi and Sally Marguerite McGowen; a daughter and her husband, Sharon Lynn and Darrell Jones; and a brother, Elzie Eugene McGowen.
Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ denomination. She really loved and enjoyed reading. She will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew her. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2024 at Summerfield Cemetery Pavilion with Reverend Phil McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Monday.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
