Shirley Sue Brown of Spiro, Oklahoma was born July 25, 1944 in the Reichert Community to Clifford and Reba (Mairel) Shupert and passed away December 20, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 73.

Bill Shupert of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Rocky Shupert of Fort Smith, Arkansas

Six grandchildren:
Casey Brown, Jordan Jones, Dakota Simpson, Kyle Brown, Layton Brown, and Grayson Brown

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Brandi Brown. Shirley was a life-long resident of the area, a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, and a Tax Preparer for H & R Block in Spiro, Oklahoma. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. Shirley will be dearly missed.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in the Reichert Community with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery in the Reichert Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers: Grandchildren

Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
