Sheila Wynema Taylor of Heavener, Oklahoma was born on July 13, 1969 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Velmer and Wynema (Ward) Francis and passed away May 29, 2018 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 48.

Many beloved nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends
She was preceded in death by her father, Velmer Francis and one brother, Rick Francis. Sheila was a long-time resident of the area, a 2nd grade Teachers Assistant for Heavener Public Schools, and a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church. She was a 1987 graduate of Panama High School and received her Associates degree from Carl Albert State College. Sheila loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Sheila will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Big Creek Baptist Church with Brother John Mark Little officiating. Burial will follow in Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Floyd Butler, David Butler, Gary Francis, Billy Cook, Jason Priest, and Floyd Langston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Terry Taylor, Joe Hickman, and Mark Taylor.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday; and 8:30 a.m. until noon, Friday at the funeral home. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
