Sharon Gail Cox of Heavener, Oklahoma was born January 27, 1950 in San Diego, California to Lawrence William and Marybel (Scott) Bowen and passed away February 22, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 73.
She is survived by:

Joel Cox and wife Rusti of Heavener, Oklahoma
Two grandchildren:
Connor Cox of Heavener, Oklahoma
Luke Cox of Heavener, Oklahoma
A host of other relatives and many friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marybel Bowen; and one brother, Joseph Bowen. Sharon was a longtime resident of the area and was a Supervisor at Choctaw Nation. She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Hontubby Cemetery arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home.
