Sarah Flourine Lewis of Wister, Oklahoma was born July 7, 1937 in Summerfield, Oklahoma to Richard and Rosie (Wooten) Earls and passed away September 17, 2019 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 82
She is survived by:
Three daughters:
Charlene Watson of Pulaski, New York
Ethel Edmondson of Poteau, Oklahoma
Peggy Morrison and husband Dale of Heavener, Oklahoma
One son:
C.V. Lewis of Poteau, Oklahoma
One sister:
Ruthie Monroe of Poteau, Oklahoma
Eight grandchildren:
Temple Jones, Jennifer Harrison, Candace Guinn, Summer Jones, Caleb Guinn, Brittany Lewis,
Blake Lewis and Bryan Lewis
Eight great-grandchildren
Several other loved ones and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Lewis; one brother Richard (Son) Earls; and two sisters, Mary Stufflebean and Jimmi Pope. Sarah was long time resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and go camping.
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00p.m., Wednesday and 8:30 until noon, Thursday at the funeral home
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale community with Brother Gene Heflin officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma
