Sam Davis of the Haw Creek Community, Oklahoma was born February 5, 1937 in Haw Creek and passed away December 31, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

Dorothy Murry and companion Doug Cecil of Carthage, Texas
Two sons:
Joe Davis and wife Debbie of the Blackfork Community
Tim Davis and wife Henryetta of the Haw Creek Community
One sister:
Mozel Davis of Napa, California
Eight grandchildren
Twenty great-grandchildren
Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Retha; six sisters, Viola, Sarah, Lorene, Myrtle, Hazel, and Verna; four brothers, Floyd, Ode, Dick, and Ed; and two grandchildren, Sabrina and Wesley. He was a life-long resident of the Haw Creek Community and was a retired logger.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Blackfork Cemetery in the Blackfork Community with Reverend Clyde Steelman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:30 p.m., with the family visiting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
