Raymond Dean Benson of Heavener, Oklahoma was born August 24, 1952 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Orville and Vernice (Oglesby) Benson and passed away November 6, 2019 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 67

Jimmie Lemmons of Poteau, Oklahoma
His niece:
Tracie Harrison and husband Ralph of Cameron, Oklahoma
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of many friends
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Martha Lemmons; and his cousin Kathy Edwards.
Raymond was a life-long resident of the area, loved to walk, work on vehicles and lawn mowers, doing yard work, fish and just being outside. He will be missed by many.
Funeral service will be 2.00 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be:
Charlie Shadwick, Delfino Royos, Jimmy Harrison, Ralph Harrison, Kristi Harrison and Wesley Taylor
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Friday and 8:30 a.m. until service time Saturday.
The family will visit with friends and family 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
