Phillip Sanchez, Jr. of Hodgen, Oklahoma was born January 5, 1975 in Galveston, Texas to Phillip Sanchez, Sr. and Linda Runnels and passed away December 22, 2025 at his home in Hodgen, Oklahoma at the age of 50.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Rosalie Runnels; a brother, Peter McCulley; three uncles Jimmie, Jerry, and Clifford Runnels; and one cousin, James McClelland.

Phillip was a longtime resident of the area and a member of Way to Victory Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in Hodgen Cemetery under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
