Obituary

Norma Sharon (Elliott) Davenport of Heavener, Oklahoma was born November 28, 1949 in the Independence Community, outside of Heavener, Oklahoma to Joe Benny and Derotha (Elder) Elliott and passed away May 17, 2022 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 72.
She is survived by:
One daughter:
Andrea Beth Stinson and husband Scott of Poteau, Oklahoma
Two sons:
Jimmy Lee Davenport and wife Carin of Barling, Arkansas
Christopher Scott Davenport and wife Amy of Bentonville, Arkansas
Three sisters:
Doris Evetts of Heavener, Oklahoma
Lana Hood of Heavener, Oklahoma
Elaine Yandell and husband Ronnie of Heavener, Oklahoma
One sister-in-law:
June Davenport of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Six grandchildren:
Ethan Davenport, Breanna Hanham and husband Mason, Abbi Davenport, Kendal Stinson and boyfriend Trevyn Bingley, Darin Davenport and fiance Kimberlee Holman, and Christa Davenport
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of many friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Henry Myron Davenport; and two sisters Donna Dehart and Vicki Cyrus.
Norma was a life-long resident of the area, a 1968 graduate of Heavener High School, and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church. She retired from being a L.P.N., where she worked as Dr. Kemps nurse for 20 years. Norma will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Heavener First Baptist Church with Mr. Chris Davenport and Reverend Joe Haydon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Ethan Davenport, Darin Davenport, Mason Hanham, Trevyn Bingley, Christa Davenport, Abbi Davenport, Kendal Stinson, Breanna Hanham, and Kimberlee Holman
Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Thursday; 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Friday, and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Saturday. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
