Nina Hoffman from the Haw Creek Community in Heavener, Oklahoma was born November 27, 1945 in the Stapp-Zoe, Oklahoma to Raymond O. B. and Elsie (Powers) Permenter and passed away March 30, 2017 in the Haw Creek Community at the age of 71.

She is survived by:

Two sons:
Vaughn and wife Linda of Choctaw, Oklahoma
Dustin and wife Lynn of the Haw Creek, Oklahoma

One sister:
Brenda Farmer and husband David of Lenox, Oklahoma

Three brothers:
R.L. Permenter and wife Pat of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Mike Permenter and wife Lana of Poteau, Oklahoma
Phillip Permenter and wife Brenda of Shady Point, Oklahoma

Eleven grandchildren

Seventeen great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest; one son, Dennis Hoffman; and one brother, Ronnie Permenter. Nina was a long-time resident of the Haw Creek Community, a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau, and worked as a nurses aide for the Vista Nursing Home in Heavener.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Father Valentine Ndebilie officiating. Burial will follow in Page Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
