Nathan Ray McLaughlin of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 20, 1982 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Danny and Vickey (Naylor) McLaughlin and passed away March 2, 2020 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 37.

Numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by his mother Vickey and his paternal grandfather, W.D. McLaughlin. Nathan was a life-long resident of the area, a 2000 graduate of Heavener High School, and a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church. He worked for Fluor Daniel and UCI as a pipe welder for the past 20 years. Nathan loved to hunt, fish, camp, and live life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and loved spending time with them.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Heavener First Baptist Church with Brother Mark Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Conser Cemetery of the Conser Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be:
Justin Thornburg, Ricky Dacus, Mark Forehand, Dustin McLaughlin, Josh Cockburn and Michael Owens
Viewing will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
