Nancy Ruth Janway of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 26, 1946 in Blackfork, Arkansas to Cecil and Luie (Campbell) Morrison and passed away surrounded by her family on June 17, 2023 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
She is survived by:
Two sons:
Johnny Janway and wife Debbie of Heavener, Oklahoma
Teddy Janway and wife Cindy of Heavener, Oklahoma
Two daughters:
Judy Culpepper and husband Dave of Heavener, Oklahoma
Molly Lloyd of Heavener, Oklahoma
Two brothers:
Marvin Morrison of the Haw Creek Community
James Morrison and wife Bobbie of the Hontubby Community
14 grandchildren
Several great-grandchildren
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom loved her very much
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charley Ray Janway; one sister; and ten brothers.
Nancy was a longtime resident of the area and was a Nurses Aid for the Heavener Nursing Home. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Nancy thoroughly enjoyed fishing, sewing, and quilting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Nancy will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Hontubby Cemetery in the Hontubby Community with Reverend Joe Haydon Hall and Brother Larry Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Hontubby Cemetery in Hontubby Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
