Miranda Lou Green of Wister, Oklahoma was born March 23, 1944 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Thomas Haskell and Ruth Leah (Leak) Thompson and passed away December 1, 2024 at her residence at the age of 80.
She is survived by:

Michael David Green and wife Tawnya of Wister, Oklahoma
One daughter:
Glenda Elaine (Green) Seiter and husband Ted of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Two brothers:
Stanley Thomspon of Muskogee, Oklahoma
James Thompson of Bixby, Oklahoma
Four grandchildren:
Haskell Isiah Green, Edward Franklin Seiter, McKenzie Dannelle Green, and Kaden Bradley Green
Numerous children and grandchildren in love, other loved ones, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glin Green; and one brother, Frank Thompson.
Miranda was a graduate of Tahlequah High School, received her Bachelors Physics degree from Central Missouri State University, Master Math degree from Northeastern State University, Bachelor Pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and Pharmacy Doctor from the University of Arkansas. Glin and Miranda were married for 43 years. She was a long-time resident of the area, a life member of the Eastern Star, and was the Owner/Operator and Pharmacist at Greens Prescription Center in Heavener for many years. Miranda loved to travel, family gatherings, watching movies and reading, spending time with the grandkids were her greatest joy. Miranda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Waymire officiating. Burial will follow in Proctor-Sanders Community Cemetery in Proctor, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Edward Seiter, Kaden Green, Daniel Westbrook, Cecil Whisenhunt, Ricky Smith, and Johnathan Remi.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Haskell Green, Israel Whisenhunt, and Nicholas Whisenhunt.
Viewing will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
