Melissa (Davis) Queen of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 7, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Bill and Cleo (Horsley) Queen and passed away on August 10, 2025 surrounded by family in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 58.

She is survived by:

One sister:

Melinda Davis and husband Dwayne of Heavener, Oklahoma

One aunt:

Sue Queen of Westville, Oklahoma

Three nephews:

Dustin Davis and wife Jessica

Tristen Davis

Dalton Davis

Two great-nephews:

Parker and Hudson Davis

One great-niece:

Averi Davis

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bill and Cleo (Horsley) Queen; and an uncle, Jerry Queen.

Melissa was a longtime resident of the community and "The Ranch Foreman". She was a member of the Forrester Baptist Church and held a profound love for all animals, particularly horses. Melissa was known for her warm spirit and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melissa will be remembered fondly by her loved ones.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Forrester Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be: Dwayne Davis, Dustin Davis, Tristen Davis, Dalton Davis, Richard Welch, and Jamie Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made in honor of Melissa to Gideon Bibles.

Viewing will be from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until noon, Wednesday at the funeral home.
