Melba Woodral of Shady Point, Oklahoma (formerly of the Hontubby Community) was born March 12, 1951 in Henrietta, Texas to Albert Vernon and Wilma Ellen (Heavener) Janway and passed away on December 15, 2017 in Shady Point, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Wilma Janway; two great-great grandsons, Shaune and Shane Green. Melba was a life-long resident of the area and a member of the Heavener Assembly of God Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Melba loved to spend every moment with the people she loved and loved to play UNO. She will be greatly missed.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Ray Weaver officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
