Maudie Husak of Howe, Oklahoma was born July 6, 1914 in Hill County, Texas and passed away February 10, 2017 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 102.

She is survived by:

Two granddaughters:
Melissa Dodge and husband Mark of Wichita, Kansas
Darlene Mitchell and husband Robert of Kansas

Three grandsons:
Dan Husak and wife Judy of Charlotte, North Carolina
Kenny Husak of Wilburton, Oklahoma
Terry Keith of Kansas

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Husak; one son, Wayne Husak; and one daughter, Barbara Keith. Maudie was a life-long resident of the area and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2017 at Howe Cemetery, in Howe, Oklahoma with Reverend Bill Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
