Mary Jean Martindale of Howe, Oklahoma was born March 3, 1929 in Glenpool, Oklahoma to Buck and Nora Wood and passed away July 17, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 93.

Jason Martindale and wife Kagney of Poteau, Oklahoma
Nick Martindale of Howe, Oklahoma

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill; three sons, Ricky, Rodney, and Randy Martindale; and one granddaughter, Audumn Martindale. She was a life-long resident of the area and a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Mary and her husband Bill owned and operated the Wooden Rail Restaurant in Heavener for many years. She loved to spend time with her family and bowl.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the Faith Baptist Church in Howe, Oklahoma with Reverend Joe Haydon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
