Makayla Manley of Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 29, 1996 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Rodney and Tonya (Pebsworth) Cheek and passed away February 6, 2021 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 24.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerry Pebsworth; one uncle, Craig Cheek; and one great-uncle, Stanley Tolbert. Makayla was a 2015 graduate of Heavener High School, a member of the Heavener Trinity Baptist Church, and a Phlebotomist for the Choctaw Nation Healthcare Center in Talihina. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her "dogs." Makayla also had a great time shopping for anything.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Heavener School Gymnasium with Bro. Johnny Montgomery, Bro. Sam Dyer, and Mr. Corry Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Carson Cheek, Gannon Cheek, Charlie Siler, Kolton Foster, Quinten McGee, Colt Callahan, Parker Olive, and Scotty Baken
Honorary pallbearers will be: Lexi Moody, Haylie Burns, Hattie Humphrey, Elyssa McGee, Jolie Kannady, Jacie Russell, Katie Morgan, Mandy Watkins, and Cami Schiffner
Viewing will start 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday. The family will have visitation with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
