Linda Benson of Howe, Oklahoma was born September 17, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Clarence and Dorothy (Woodral) Benson and passed away November 23, 2020 in Newcastle, Oklahoma at the age of 58.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Benson; and two sisters, Kathy Edwards and Lisa Goins.
Linda was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Montana Williams, David Williams, IV, Briar Frady, Thorn Frady, Chance Morris, and Jesse Gentry
Honorary pallbearers will be: John Culpepper, JonDale Morris, David Williams, III, Charley Mattox, and Preston Mattox
Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Thursday; and 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Friday. The family will have visitation with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
