Levi "L.C." Clark, Jr. of the Reichert Community in Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 31, 1929 in Glenmora, Louisiana to Levy Clifford and Opal (Stockman) Clark and was called to his Heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Reichert, Oklahoma at the age of 87.

Russell Clark and wife Cheryn of Heavener, Oklahoma

Gloria Perry and husband James of Sulphur, Louisiana
Sandy Ball and husband Lawrence of Pearland, Texas

One brother:
Gerald Wade Clark and wife Amy Lee of Deer Park, Texas

Seven grandchildren:
Brett Metcalf, Branden Metcalf, Chance Clark, Whitney Clark, Cayleigh Clark, Jordan Small, Madison Small

One great-grandchild:
Sadie Metcalf

Six nieces:
Debbie, Roni, Diane, Cassie, Lynn, and Lea

Three nephews:
Gary, Tim, and Levi

One sister- in- law:
Pat Fowler and husband Neil of Madisonville, Texas


Numerous other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; one niece, Becky Gorsch; and three nephews, Lynn Perry, Craig Perry, and Glenn Perry. Levi was a graduate of Sulphur High School in Sulphur, Louisiana; Lee Junior College in Baytown, Texas; and the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He served three years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Levi retired with twenty eight years of service as an Inventory Control Supervisor for the R.G. LeTourneau Company in Longview, Texas. The company constructs large machinery and off shore platforms. He and his wife, Jerry Ann then moved to the Reichert Community right outside Heavener, Oklahoma where he raised chickens and cattle. Levi and Jerry Ann celebrated fifty- nine and a half years of marriage and were blessed with three children. He was a member of Hodgen Baptist Church and a long-time resident of the Reichert Community.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Dowden- Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Caughern and Clay Caughern officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be: Russell Clark, Mark Small, Brett Metcalf, Branden Metcalf, Chance Clark, and Jordan Small

Honorary Pallbearers: Levi Ball, Gary Clark, and Tim Perry

Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday. The family will be visiting with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
