Leo "Bud" McKenzie of Howe, Oklahoma was born March 13, 1953 in Howe, Oklahoma to Eugene Leo and Berta (Vinson) McKenzie and passed away June 24, 2017 in Howe, Oklahoma at the age of 64.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Leo was a 1971 graduate of Poteau High School. He was a Carpenter by trade in Construction and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Leo was a member of the Heavener Masonic Lodge #154. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Springhill Baptist Church in Howe, Oklahoma with Pastor Justin McKenzie and Reverend Bob Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma with Masonic Rights.
Pallbearers will be: JT Staats, Warren Kester, Dub Evans, Jess Gatlin, Frankie Brown, and Carl Grayson
Honorary Pallbearer will be: Jim Crouch, Billy Wilson, Brent Thompson, and Charley Mattox
Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Sunday; 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday; and 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
