Larry Ray Parker of the Haw Creek Community was born July 5, 1949 in Hanford, California to Luther Ray and Betty (Higgins) Parker and passed away on April 2, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 68.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Larry was a life-long resident of the area and a carpenter. He was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew him. Larry was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Big Creek Baptist Church with Reverend John Mark Little and Reverend James Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Blackfork Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Family
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Big Creek Baptist Church Deacons
Viewing will begin at noon until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. until noon, Thursday at the funeral home.
The family will greet with friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
