Kenneth Dwayne Davis Sr. of Hodgen, Oklahoma was born September 15, 1943 in Page, Oklahoma to Ella Bea and Lola (Warford) Davis and passed away in Hodgen, Oklahoma December 15, 2016 at the age of 73.

He is survived by:
His wife of 54 years, Phyllis Davis

One daughter:
Teri Kirkland of Poteau, Oklahoma

One son:
Dwayne Davis and wife Melinda of Hodgen, Oklahoma

Two brothers:
Ed Davis and wife Irene of Hodgen, Oklahoma
Virgil Davis and wife Nila of Hodgen, Oklahoma

Four Sisters in Law:
Diane Davis of Hodgen, Oklahoma, Jeanie and husband Linston Chronister of Wister, Oklahoma, Mary Donathan of Wister, Oklahoma and Paula Pearson of Wister, Oklahoma

Five grandchildren:
Dustin Davis, Tristen Davis, Dalton Davis, Brandon Kirkland and Corby Kirkland

Five great-grandchildren:
Braylie Kirkland, Averi Davis, Parker Davis, Bradley Martin and Mackenzi Martin

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bobby Davis. He was a farmer, rancher, and carpenter and was an active member of Forrester Baptist Church. He loved to tease and have fun with everyone he met. Kenneth was also a retired member of the Hodgen Fire Department.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Forrester Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Steelman officiating. Burial will be at Hodgen Cemetery, Hodgen, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m. Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.. The family will be visiting with friends on Sunday, December 18, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
