Jolene Vaughn of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 25, 1939 in Howe, Oklahoma to Esker Dayton and Ruby (Dorsey) Webb and went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2025 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 85.
She is survived by:

One sister:
Judy Yates of McKinney, Texas
One brother:
Jerry Webb of Memphis, Tennessee
One daughter-in-law:
Teresa Vaughn of the Lovings Community
Five grandchildren:
Billy Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn, Casey Vaughn, Stacy McKinney, and Buddy Vaughn
Eight great-grandchildren:
Makaylee Andrews, Nick and Makenzie Vaughn, Elijah Vaughn, Jaycee McKinney, Zack Vaughn, Lilly Vaughn, Rylee Vaughn, and Ezekiel Vaughn
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones, and a host of friends whom loved her very much
She was preceded in death by her parents, Esker and Ruby Webb; her husband, Jerry Dwayne Vaughn; a son, David Edwin Vaughn; and two brothers, Carroll Webb and Dayton Webb.
Jolene was a longtime resident of the area, a homemaker, and a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. Jolene was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Bentley Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Casey Vaughn, Elijah Vaughn, Billy Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn, Buddy Vaughn, Nick Vaughn, and Jason McKinney.
Public viewing will be from Noon until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Gideon's for Bibles in memory of Jolene.
