Joanne Grace Flanagan of Heavener, Oklahoma was born August 5, 1942 in Gloucester, New Jersey to Gilbert and Anna (Storyl) Gruff and passed away November 2, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 80.
She is survived by:

Anna J. Billings and husband Glen of Wister, Oklahoma
Sandra L. Hess and husband Terry of Mountain Home, Idaho
Three sons:
Vito D. DeGregorio and wife Betsy of Starke, Florida
Andrew J. DeGregorio and wife Lisa of Newville, Pennsylvania
Anthony F. DeGregorio and wife Michele of Spiro, Oklahoma
One sister:
Susan Gruff
12 grandchildren:
Jessica, Sean, Aaron, Joshua, Matthew, Miranda, David, Sarah, Alyssa, Adam, Micheala, and Sheldon
5 great-grandchildren:
Aiden, Jax, Ellie, Elijah, and Dominic
A host of family and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Anna Gruff; and the father of her children William M. DeGregorio, Sr.
Joanne grew up in New Jersey and spent most of her adult life between Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. Joanne was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Joanne also enjoyed painting and art, camping, and her favorite place was Rainbow Falls at TroughCreek State Park in Pennsylvania. Her favorite hymn was "In the Garden". She will be missed deeply.
Memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
