He spent a lifetime loving and serving his Lord and church. Jimmy loved to work on anything and was an excellent mechanic, welder, and leather worker.
Jimmy was first and foremost an example of faith to those he loved. He served the Lord in every area of his life. Jimmy had an active part in the life of his wife, family, and church. He fell in love with his wife "Lynn" of almost fifty-one years when he was a young man in New Mexico. Jimmy moved here (Cauthron, Arkansas) soon after his parents did in 1978.
He had several hobbies including welding, repairing anything, and leather working. Jimmy had a sense of humor that most will remember most about him. His work ethic was an example many admired. Jimmy loved his church family at Forrester like his own and he served there until the day he passed. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him great joy. Jimmy had a deep smooth bass voice and he used it to lead worship at his church.
