Jimmy Edgar Minor of Howe, Oklahoma was born October 6, 1960 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Carroll D. Minor and Blanche (Ollar) Luman and passed away June 2, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 56.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carol Ann Lidderdale; and one step-brother, Danny Luman. Jimmy attended Heavener High School and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, where he was a Correctional Officer. He worked for the City of Heavener and Rons Discount Lumber. Jimmy was a member of the Heavener Masonic Lodge #154.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Heavener Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma with Masonic Rights and Oklahoma Department of Corrections Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be: Richard Jolliff, Chris Crouch, John Pugh, Chris Terry, Darrin Pitman, and Geno Blackwell
Honorary Pallbearers: Lane Terry, Linn Terry, Trenton Luman, Dalton Luman, and Carol Smallwood
Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Sunday and 8:30 a.m. until noon, Monday.
