Chigger, a cherished member of our community, dedicated his life to ranching and farming in the area he called home. His craftsmanship was evident in his rock work at the Heavener Runestone, and he contributed his skills at the LeFlore County Highway Department Dist. 3 and the LeFlore County Assessor’s office.

Known as the chairman at the table of knowledge at the Downtown Café Coffee table, Chigger was a fountain of wisdom and camaraderie. A passionate gardener, avid hunter, and skilled roper, Chigger found joy in riding his beloved mule, Dolly, and showering his grandchildren with love and affection. He savored home-cooked meals by Brenda, which brought the family together in laughter and warmth.

Chigger's legacy as a loving husband, daddy, PaPa, brother, uncle, and friend will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His absence will be profoundly felt, and he will be dearly missed.
