Jim Bob Bowen of Bokoshe, Oklahoma was born October 11, 1961 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Elmer Earl and Estelle Maurine (Long) Bowen and passed away January 14, 2017 at his home in Bokoshe, Oklahoma at the age of 55.

Jim Bob Bowen, Jr. and wife Amber of McAlester, Oklahoma

Michael Bowen of the home

Two sisters:
Lacey Hartley
Deanna Normand

One brother:
Michael E. Yancey

Seven grandchildren:
Adriona Bowen, Monica, Noelia, Mariah, and Natalia Sanchez, Jayden and Caleb Bowen

He leaves behind a host of friends and loved ones that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Joe Ben Bowen. Jim Bob worked construction as an equipment operator. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, papa, and friend.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
