Jeffrey Raymond Altstatt of Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 31, 1962 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to George and Ruth (Brown) Altstatt and passed away on June 10, 2025 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 62.

He is survived by:

His wife:  Shelley Altstatt of the home

Two sons:  Bryan Altstatt of Conway, Arkansas and Phillip "Andy" Altstatt of Cabot, Arkansas

Two sisters:  Georgia "Doddie" Dean and husband Mike of Heavener, Oklahoma; Carrie "Candy" Irvin and husband Terry of White Hall, Arkansas

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom loved him very much, as he loved them

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Altstatt; a sister, Nancy Lynn (Altstatt) McClain.

Jeffrey a cherished member of the community and a talented graphic artist. He was a longtime resident of the area, he found joy in riding his lawnmower and was a passionate supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Atlanta Braves, and Boston Bruins. Jeffrey's greatest delight came from the time spent with family and friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He will be profoundly missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a family visitation on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
