Janet Maria Minor of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 31, 1962 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to John "Pete" and Dorothy Lee (Pevytoe) Naylor and passed away November 1, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 55.

Four grandchildren:

Numerous other relatives and a host of many friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Pete" and Dorothy Naylor; grandparents, Melvin and Mary Pevytoe; one daughter, Katlynn Minor; mother-in-law, Blanche Luman; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Minor; and a sister-in-law, Carol Ann Lidderdale. Janet was a life-long resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, fishing, drawing, and being in the outdoors. Janet was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clyde Steelman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Friday and 8:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
