Janet Harvell of Heavener, Oklahoma was born November 7, 1947 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to John Mack and Joan (Grisham) Woods and passed away September 30, 2019 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 71

Numerous other relatives and a host of friends whom loved her very much
She was preceded in death by her father; a step-son, Chad Harvell a sister, Judy Parrish; and a granddaughter, Cheyenne Harvell. Janet was a long time resident of Heavener, a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church. She retired from Heavener Public School, where she taught for many years. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and also enjoyed to read and write.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Heavener First Baptist Church with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. until noon, Friday. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
