James Allen Rainwater of Big Cedar, Oklahoma was born October 14, 1983 in Bakersfield, California to Allen Rainwater and Terri (George) Branch and passed away August 11, 2020 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 36.

Crystal Cole and husband Josh of Stigler, Oklahoma
Faith Dybwad and husband Eric of Stigler, Oklahoma
Two brothers:
Albert Rainwater and wife Tiffaney of Krebbs, Oklahoma
Robert Branch of Stigler, Oklahoma
Two nieces: Bethany and Brooke Oliver
Five nephews: Eli and Weston Rainwater, Hunter Cole, Jenson and Greyson Dybwad
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Rainwater; one brother, Phillip Rainwater; a special aunt and uncle; and a nephew, Jason Dybwad.
James was a truck driver and enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking. James will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Muse First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Muse, Oklahoma with Reverend Jacob Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Muse Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Albert Rainwater, Josh Kirkland, Ryan Guinn, Shane Guinn, Dennis Carlson, and Earl Davis
Honorary Pallbearer will be: Robert Branch
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
