Jackie Louise Shupert of Heavener, Oklahoma was born August 8, 1946 in Odessa, Texas to Jack and Corrine (Lee) Bernard and went home to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

Charles Shupert of Heavener, Oklahoma

Two sons:

Brian Shupert and wife Cheryl of Heavener, Oklahoma

Kevin Shupert and wife Angel of Heavener, Oklahoma

Eight grandchildren and one that was like a son, Clifton Shupert

Several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren

Numerous other loved ones and a host of friends whom loved her very much

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Corrine Bernard.

Jackie was a longtime resident of the area, a 1965 graduate of Poteau High School, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. Jackie loved making cakes especially with the help of her husband. She loved spending time with her family. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Gary Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Conser Cemetery under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
