Helen Imogene "Jean" Lowe of Page, Oklahoma was born May 13, 1929 in Hicks, Oklahoma to James Lewis and Allie Elizabeth (Roberts) Branscum and passed away March 17, 2020 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 90.
She is survived by:
Three sons:
David Lowe of Forrester, Oklahoma
Ronnie Lowe of Texas
Tommy Lowe of Howe, Oklahoma
One daughter:
Glenda Simmons and husband Tony of Page, Oklahoma
One sister:
Joyce Smith of Big Cedar, Oklahoma
Seven grandchildren
Ten great-grandchildren
Several great-great-grandchildren
Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Luther Glen Lowe; six sisters; and three brothers.
Jean was a long-time resident of the area and the owner of Lowes Truck Stop in Page, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jean will be missed by all whom loved and knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Big Creek Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend John Mark Little and Reverend Paul Puckett officiating. Interment will be in the Hodgen Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home.
Viewing will be noon until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday; 8:30 a.m. until noon, Friday at the funeral home.
