Harvey Joe "Butch" Forehand of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 31, 1948 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Emmitt Forehand and Darlene (Curtis) Cast and passed away November 6, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 68.

Niki Dehart and husband Adam of Heavener, Oklahoma

Two sons:
Cody Terry and wife Kristen of Poteau, Oklahoma
Mark Forehand and wife Brittany of Hackett, Arkansas

10 grandchildren His Pumpkins:
Patrick Clinton, Dallas Terry, Jordan Terry, Bryson Terry, Shayleigh McDaniel, Trace McDaniel, Kason Terry, Addison Dehart, Cael Terry, Braelynn Forehand

And his extended family that he spent with on the road working together. He loved each one of you guys.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene and step-father, Jessie Cast; his father, Emmett Forehand; one brother, Douglas Forehand, and one very special uncle, Marvin (Hoogie) Curtis. Butch was a lifelong resident of the area and loved working on Hot Rods. He was a 1966 graduate of Howe High School.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at The House of Hope in Poteau, Oklahoma with Rev. Frankie Harris and Rev. Brian Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be: Patrick Clinton, Trace McDaniel, Bryson Terry, Jordan Terry, Joe Dawes, Dusty Dawes, and Justin Thornburg

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jay Hill, J.C. Benson, Frank Hamner, Jimmy Shadwick, Cub Hamner, Danny McLaughlin, and Marilyn Pledger

Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. until noon on Thursday at the funeral home. The family will visit with family and friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home.
