Goldia Jo Milligan of Poteau, Oklahoma (formerly of Heavener, Oklahoma) was born November 21, 1941 in the Reichert Community in Heavener, Oklahoma to Emmitt and Mae (Metcalf) Milligan and passed away on May 1, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
She is survived by:

Dana Gilliam of Poteau, Oklahoma
Two great-great nieces:
Megan Woodruff of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Samantha Gilliam of Fort Smith, Arkansas
A host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Curtis Plummer; and one niece, Janet Tolbert and husband Jerry Tom.
Jo was a longtime resident of the area. She was a 1959 graduate of Heavener High School. Jo attended Northeastern State University and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Business degree. She was an IT Specialist at Shell Oil Company. Jo was a member of the Faithbridge Church in Heavener. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jo was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Ricky Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be her family.
Viewing will be from Noon until 4:00 p.m., Friday and 9:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday.
