Gerald Wayne "Joe/Jerry" Clubb of Poteau, Oklahoma was born January 1, 1942 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Casper and Imogene (Elliott) Clubb and passed this life in Poteau, Oklahoma on February 13, 2024. He and his wife Carolyn (Wyatt) Clubb were married for 63 years. Joe and Carolyn had three boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casper and Imogene (Elliott) Clubb; a son, Gregory Clubb; a grandson, Jacob Wayne Clubb; his brothers, Tommy and Paul Ray Clubb; a sister-in-law, Dusty Clubb; and two brothers-in-law, Ed Yates and Bill Kincaid.
Joe was a 1959 graduate of Heavener High School. He started his career as a Surveyor for the State of Oklahoma, owned the DX Station in Heavener for several years, and worked as a Foreman for Maintenance Way for the KCS Railroad, retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed buying and selling cars as a hobby. Joe thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. His love for his family and God never waivered. Even when his health deteriorated he always called his family to check on them.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Mr. Kenneth Clubb officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Gerald to Gideon International for Bibles.
