Genevieve Jean Wiles of Heavener, Oklahoma was born February 4, 1937 in Watts, Oklahoma to Austin and Vera (McFarland) Duncan and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 19, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

Shelley Altstatt and husband Jeff of Heavener, Oklahoma




Two brothers:

Austin Duncan and wife Jan of Meridian, Mississippi

Wilmar Lee Duncan and wife Sonya of Leflore, Oklahoma




One sister:

Carol Cook and husband Dave of Lee Summit, Missouri




Three grandchildren:

Bryan Altstatt of Maumelle, Arkansas

Andy Altstatt of Little Rock, Arkansas

Stephanie Butts of Pine Bluff, Arkansas




Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of friends




She was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Vera Duncan; two sisters, Clarise Duncan (infant) and Dorothy Meeks; one brother, Lex Duncan; one granddaughter and husband, Brooke and Shawn Storz; and one niece, Trina Benefield. Genevieve was a life-long resident of the area and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.




There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.




Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
