Garry Wayne Adams of Wister, Oklahoma was born July 18, 1948 in Wister, Oklahoma to John Denton and Laverne Adams and passed away February 13, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 72.

Jowayne Adams of Wister, Oklahoma
One sister:
Darlene Sanders of Wister, Oklahoma
14 grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Richard Adams.
Garry was a long-time resident of the area and a retired over the road truck driver. He worked many years for Smith Trucking. Garry was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Garry was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam era.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
