Florence Coleman of Summerfield, Oklahoma was born February 13, 1937 in Alvin, Texas to John Lee Moore, Sr. and Helen (Gilbert) Moore and passed away March 16, 2019 in Summerfield, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
She is survived by:

Gary L. Coleman, Jr. of Montrose, Missouri
Eddy L. Coleman and wife Samantha of New Boston, Texas
John B. Coleman of Summerfield, Oklahoma

Norna Helen (Moore) Cooper of Montrose, Missouri
One brother:
Albert Horton Moore and wife Mercedes of Santa Fe, Texas
Two sisters-in-law:
Janett Moore of Clifton, Texas
Iva Lea Chitwood of Summerfield, Oklahoma
One brother-in-law:
John Leonard Moore of Alvin, Texas

Numerous great and great-great grandchildren
Many beloved nieces, nephews, other family members, and very dear friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary L. Coleman, Sr.; two sisters, Lydia Ann Stone and Mary Frances Robertson; and one brother, John Lee Moore, Jr.
Florence married Gary Coleman, Sr. March 17, 1961. She graduated from LPN school in 1976 and was a nurse for 22 years. She always put God first and her family at a close second. Florene was a member of the Cross Cowboy Church in Summerfield. She loved to cook and no one left her house without a full belly, the best hug in the world, and an I Love You. Florence enjoyed gardening and canning. One of her greatest pleasures was getting outside and taking care of the horses, weed eating around the house, and watching the birds. She also enjoyed reading and taking pictures. Florence will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Matlock officiating. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Howie Deitrich, Steve Dorsey, Jerry Dugan, John Robertson, Chief Smith, and Roger Barton
Honorary pallbearers will be: Joey Chitwood, Steve Chitwood, and Mike Hudlow
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
