Evelyn Louise (Hemphill) Brown of Heavener, Oklahoma, formerly of Poteau, Oklahoma was born March 18, 1938 in Reichert, Oklahoma to James and Opal (Cogburn) Hemphill and passed away December 19, 2024 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 86.

Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Debbie Reeves; two sons, Calvin Brown and Monte Brown; and two sisters, Syble White and Dona Newell. Evelyn loved spending time with her family. She also loved quilting, crocheting, ceramics, and going to garage sales.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 in Reichert Cemetery with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
