Douglas Qualls of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 24, 1942 in Hodgen, Oklahoma to John and Catherine (Jones) Qualls and passed away June 8, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 76.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dana Jean Sims. Doug was life-long resident of the area, a member of the Hodgen First Baptist Church, and a 1961 graduate of Heavener High School. He retired from U.S Motors as a Supervisor. Doug was a veteran in the U.S. Army where he served his country during the Vietnam era. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by many.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Josh Edwards, Justin Qualls, Nick Qualls, Klayton Qualls, Robert White, and Scotty Clague.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday; 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday and 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
